Welcome back - Troop Calendar initial updates for 2011/2012 school year

Posted on Aug 27 2011 - 12:45pm

Welcome back all and hope everyone enjoyed their summer!

It was great to get a break from 100+ temperatures at summer camp back in July. While I miss the weather, water and wild blueberries, I'm still recovering from the Jersey accents some of our scouts acquired from the trip (and one British/Indian accent).

Thanks

I just wanted to send this message to thank EVERYONE for helping with my project over the past three weeks. None of this could have been done without you guys taking time from your weekends to come and help. Your help with packing/gathering donations has helped to fill 25 C-Rat boxes at O.I., enough supplies to care for 1,300 soldiers overseas. Myself and Operation Interdependence are both incredibly appreciative.

Ben Granger Eagle Project-Weekend 3

Posted on May 28 2011 - 1:34pm

Hi all,

The third and final weekend of my Eagle project will be Saturday, June 4th, at the Operation Interdependence Center at 12308 Jones Rd (Next to Kroger and a small cajun restaurant. The facility isn't marked by a sign specifically, so look in the windows for a bunch of O.I. signs and American flags) starting at 11 AM. We will be sorting all of the donations recieved from a very successful weekend 2 and pack them into boxes for the soldiers. If anybody needs a ride or has any questions about directions, the project, etc. feel free to contact me at flippygranger@gmail.com or 8325265557.
