Troop Elections will be held during the next troop meeting, Tuesday, May 1, 2012. "Be Prepared" to give your campaign speech prior to the voting that night. If you cannot attend, be sure to contact BOTH the new SPL and SM Sklenka right away to request a position of leadership. Remember, First Class rank and above require that you hold a position of leadership for rank advancement.

This is a follow up to an earlier email about the troop's summer camp plans. We will be going back to Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (SR2) this summer, June 10-16. SR2 is a Texas–size camp with 16 miles of rugged shoreline on 10,000 acre Lake Bridgeport, which is located northwest of Ft. Worth. SR2 is well-known for water-related activities and offers numerous difficult-to-earn water-based merit badges, including small boating sailing, motorboating, and watersports.
