Troop 479 is a boy-led troop based in Houston, TX, We are part of the Sam Houston Area Council and part of the Rising Star District. Our charter organization is St. Timothy Lutheran Church. We are located at 14225 Hargrave Rd Houston, TX, 77070. The troop was formed in 1993.
Currently we have approximately 50 scouts. Our Scout Master is Frank Sklenka. Our Committee Chair is John Brogan and our Charter Organization Representative is Tom Swisher.
Our Troop Meetings are every Tuesday Night at 7:00 PM in the Family Life Center/Gym except for the Tuesdays after our montly campouts in which we have PLC meetings.
