The time is here for Winter Camp 2008! Deadline for submission to SHAC is 9/12/2008!!!!!

We need to send in a $50.00 deposit this Friday for each scout going to Winter Camp. Please email me at cnordstrom001@comcast.net and let me know if your scout is planning on going. Please submit your down payments to me.

Mrs. Khalaf has forwarded information about available Merit Badge classes at Cy-Fair College (Barker Cypress campus). Click on the link below to print out the Registration Form. As usual, these types of merit badge fairs fill up quickly.

For most, the trail that led you to this Troop began in the Cub Scouting program. Cubmaster Laura Holder of our own Pack 479 has requested assistance with their upcoming Cub Scout recruiting efforts. Scouts that volunteer to help out will be giving back to the Scouting program and also qualify for service hours. If you are interested, please read Cubmaster Holder's email below and contact her directly.

Please pay at next troop meeting. We also need a leader for Winter Camp!

I invite all Committee members and any interested persons to meet next Tuesday, Sept 2 at 7:15-8:15 p.m. at the church. We'll meet in a conference room or upstairs in the teen room while the Scouts conduct their meeting.

Here we go...the Scouting program is ready to kick in full gear. Join the party today from 3:00-5:00 p.m., at the Huntwick Pool for a fun-filled afternoon. Bring your swimsuit, some drinks/snacks, and don't forget the sunscreen.
